3) Blair
A little bit of Black Sabbath , War Pigs:
Hand of God has struck the hour Day of judgement, God is calling On their knees the war pig's crawling Begging mercy for their sins Satan laughing spreads his wings
Nah. Blair should be "We could've been anything we wanted to be": http://matgb.livejournal.com/214355.html1) Which lyric would you have on your tombstone? Resisting the temptation of "I did it my way", I'm going for "If there is a hell, I'll see you there", and remind myself to get my hell icon redone as I messed the transparencies up :-( 2) Which song has been the soundtrack to your life? I has no clue on this one, so I'm copping out. The Sound of the Suburbs by The Members: http://www.themembers.co.uk/lyrics.htmlEdit: appears I deleted the old Hell icon and gave this one the keyword, ah well... Edited at 2008-02-13 08:07 pm (UTC)
There is no lyric in the whole of We could've been anything we wanted to be that does not apply to Blair and New Labour. The gits.
1. "I did it my way" (obviously)
2. Can't tell. There are at least ten of 15 that could be my life's soundtrack.
3. Bush:
"A major liar with a minor in Greed"
From "Wrong", by Ministry.
1) I'm very fond of the line "We walk but once among the living, so no regrets and no forgiving" from Firewater's Dark Days Indeed, which seems fitting for a tombstone.
At my friend's funeral last month they played out the service with 'One Step Beyond'. It made me smile. :)
1)Maybe I'd have 'No tears, no fears, no ruined years, no clocks.' from Twentieth Century Fox by The Doors.
2)Land of Confusion by Genesis.
3)"Hey you. You're such a peasant. You got as much brain as a dead ant" for George Dubya (Monty Python's Idiot Song - I know, it's just too easy...)
OMG I haven't heard that in years. "As much imagination as a caravan si-ite..." | |
